When I first pulled this soap out of the package, my first thought was, "This smells like Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace." It reminds me of a vanilla cupcake. One of the things I didn't realize when I bought this bar was that there are little scrubbies inside of the bar.  BG was very mindful when she made the bar to not make it too scrubby where it feels like you're tearing off your skin. This bar has just the right amount of scrub to soap so you get a nice exfoliation without feeling like you're scrubbing your skin raw. The swirls on the inside of the soap with the different textures is also very beautiful sitting in the soap dish. I know earlier I said that this smells like Vanilla Lace and some people might be thinking, "That's a really strong and lingering scent."  This bar smells strong when you're in the shower, but mellows out when you're out of the shower to a light vanilla scent. It definitely does not smell like you just bathed in a vat of the scent, which is a huge bonus.

This scent is a deep, rich vanilla--not at all like the sickly-sweet and overpowering vanilla scents in most products.  I particularly recommend Busy Girl soaps to anyone with sensitive skin like me. It's honestly the first brand of scented soap that I've found that doesn't irritate my skin or leave it dry or oddly sticky.
