Soleseife (zo luh zy fuh) - German for "brine soap" or sea salt soap - is a traditional German soap used in European spas to polish, condition, and heal skin. Because these bars are made with salt, any skin wounds might sting slightly at first; however, salt is an excellent healing aid. Please do not store your salt soap on or near metal - the salt will cause rusting.
